Currently I’m working on building prototype cardboard structures covered in dirt, clay and chia seeds. The set up is meant to portray a living room/community gathering space that melts into the landscape. The forms mimic chairs, side tables light fixtures, etc. It's a play on a previous project, PLANTASIA.
I’ve figured out the structural logistics but am currently working through where this install should exist.
-
A green house environment?
-
A public space (but close enough for me to maintain.)
-
Summer spring environment if outside.
-
Portable if inside.
-
Do I want it obviously a living room set up or more spread out and up to interpretation?

Thinking about how the body travels and swims. A different approach than other projects that are meant to study a traveling body on land. What would it look like to create a floating device that acts as an art piece or taking it to the next level and making an instillation within water- to b swam through/floated? Here I began to play around with the floating form, layering videos and starting that creative process to soon expand on this water installation.
